Asia Chan-Rose In Channel 4 Series

More4, a TV channel that forms part of the British Channel 4 offering, recently began broadcasting their new series Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis, focusing on “some of the most incredible houses in the UK, to find out what life is really like when you live in a massive home”. The production company approached Asia in March 2022, to ask whether she would be interested in appearing in the show, to showcase her art alongside the unique building she calls home.

In episode 2, a 15 minute segment features a number of her works, Asia describing her creative process, and Hugh helping setting up Remembrance sculpture exhibition that was staged in May 2022. The crew also captured moments from the exhibition itself.

Ironically, the episode was screened on the same day as the unfortunate passing of Queen Elizabeth II, a moment in British history that truly is symbolic of service, self sacrifice and remembrance. A further blessed coincidence was the appearance of a double rainbow over Buckingham Palace on the same evening, just as occurred when the statue Remembrance was unveiled at the Exhibition, an event that was formally included in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
